The intelligent BA series current sensor utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure AC current in the power grid in real time. Employing constant current and linear compensation technology, it isolates and converts the current into a standard DC signal output, or transmits the measurement data via an RS485 interface (Modbus-RTU protocol). Powered by a safe DC 24V or 12V voltage, it can be widely used in industrial automation. The BA50L(Ⅱ)-AI is an AC residual current transformer, primarily used to detect leakage current in electrical systems. It allows for real-time monitoring of electrical circuits and equipment, preventing accidents such as fires caused by leakage.
Application scenarios of Acrel BA series products
In the field of industrial automation: such as petrochemicals, steel metallurgy, cement construction, and rail transportation, current sensors can be used for real-time monitoring of production equipment. This helps workers understand the operating status of equipment, promptly detect abnormal current conditions, and ensure the stability and safety of the production process. In power systems, in substations and distribution rooms, Acrel BA series current sensors can accurately measure and transmit current in power lines, providing data support for power system operation monitoring, fault diagnosis, and protection, thus improving the reliability and stability of the power system.
In the building sector: in smart buildings, current sensors can be used to monitor the electricity consumption of various areas within the building, enabling energy consumption monitoring and management of equipment such as air conditioning, lighting, and elevators. This helps building managers optimize energy use and reduce energy costs. For example, in commercial buildings, by monitoring current data in different areas, peak and off-peak electricity consumption periods can be analyzed, allowing for the rational adjustment of equipment operating times and power to achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction.
Data Centers: Data centers have extremely high requirements for the stability and security of their power supply. Acrel's BA series current sensors can monitor the current status of servers, UPS, air conditioners, and other equipment within the data center in real time, promptly detecting overloads, short circuits, and other faults to ensure the normal operation of the data center.
New Energy Sector: In new energy projects such as distributed photovoltaic and wind power generation, these sensors can be used to monitor the output current of power generation equipment and the current status of grid-connected lines. This provides data support for the operation monitoring and energy management of new energy systems, helping to improve the utilization efficiency and grid connection stability of new energy sources.
